The call to fame for Glenwood Springs is the healing hot mineral springs that flow through the center of town. There are two huge outdoor pools open to the public.
As we entered the pool the air temperature was a chilly 20 degrees, but once our toes touched the104 degree water, it was like stepping into an ancient spa of the Gods …and the steam only added to the ambiance. It was comical to see patrolling lifeguards in winter coats and hats. A relaxing day!
