A fairly new concept for us, house sitting fits nicely into our plans of exploration and it gives us an opportunity to help home owners by caring for their home and their pets while they are away on vacation or business.
As we researched possibilities for housesitting, we came across www.trustedhousesitters.com; a subscription service that provides access to hundreds of house-pet sitting assignments worldwide. Home owners with pets seek individuals or couples to stay in their home with the pets rather than boarding them. Check it out!
Eric and I are currently on assignment for 3 weeks in Port Charolette, FL, pet sitting for two fabulous Abyssinian Cats (Koko and Fero) in a gorgeous home in southwest Florida. Temps are still in the 90s; and the Gulf water temps are in the high 80’s. Fall feels fabulous!
