Day 4 Fenwick Island

Sunrise over the Atlantic is always spectacular, and this morning did not disappoint. With ukeleles in hand, we headed to the beach for the sunrise and a short jam session. A beautiful sunrise has a way of putting you in a good mood….

Lunch was a Grabandtgotaco.com
Mahi mahi fish taco with green crack (I know, we asked … It Is guacamole, cilantro, lime, and green Salsa Verdi.) Green crack is delicious and addictive…and legal.

With the threat of rain we decided to head to the Selbyville Public Library and do a little local research. We found out that many of the undocumented children coming across the Mexican border end up in the Sussex county school system of Delaware…

A trip to the OC Brewing Company was a treat. We sampled a few interesting brews that included, Alrighty Then ( Watermelon Wheat), Lost Soul Stout, (heavy coffee taste) and Social X (Pale ale). A few other seasonal beers that caught our attention included, Funky Monk, a toasted almond coconut beer; Elf, a gingerbread pomegranate beer, and my favorite, the Spoiled Brat, a pineapple ginger beer. Fun flavors, fun beer.

Dinner turned out to be a unique experience. Liquid Assets, on 94th St. Of Ocean City, Md, is a bar, a restaurant, and a place everyone knows your name…. I would classify as a quirky eatery, with excellent food. Annette, our server described the days special with a description that included preparation and presentation. We had
Smoke Tuna Melt, and Catfish and Biscuits, both flavorful and delicious. If we make our way back to the eastern shore, we will definitely visit this place again and recommend to friends.

To finish the day, a spectacular sunset over the bay painted the sky with vibrant colors that extended north to south. A perfect end to a day at the beach.
